A: Because of an aversion to censorship. To become eligible for iTunes, you have to meet certain criteria. There is a list of things they do not allow, which is seven things long; Touché El Douché violates five of them.
Most importantly, they have a zero tolerance policy toward hate speech but vaguely defines it. In a world where Daniel Tosh making an off-hand joke about rape can be seen by some organizations as hate speech, we would just rather not play ball, mainly because there's too many jokes to be made. We don't support racism. Just racist jokes.
Q: Why is there so much negativity on the show?
A: Our lives are amazing and quite frankly, we're sick of it.
Q: I heard there was once a petition to get rid of this podcast. True?
A: Yes, by a friend of the show, actually. She thought we made homophobic jokes when we actually made jokes about homophobes.
Q: How come there are only certain episodes available on YouTube?
A: Some have been taken down because of copyright issues. You can't play copyrighted music on your podcast and upload it to YouTube. Even if you got that music from YouTube in the first place.
Q: So if Trevor's a misogynist, how come his best friend is a woman?
A: Because Janine hates bitches too.
